Is a specialist and niche service, that with the uprise in foreign national hacking of personal devices (including apple devices) that we are seeing, offering a service, that someone can find out how they were attacked, to avoid future attacks, is something we think will become more valuable moving into the future.

We always want to have a look at the problem, as it's the details that define the devil. After the investigation we will give you a call providing you with the information to make the best decision for you to approve.

Repair

Need your machine back up and running. Give us a call and book your machine in for an investigation. Like a car going through an MOT, we will give you the truth about what needs to be done and provide you with advisories, that would make things better, whilst the hood is open.

Batteries can swell, leak and potentially explode, but more often they just loose power, not lasting very long. If you have any of these symptoms we can put your mac right.

Screen diagnosis & Replacement

"Flexgate" issue where the screen has gone dead but the computer still powers up. Unfortunately this is a common issue do to heating and cooling on the data cable. With the heat, we want our laptops to be 'portable' so we can fix your display.

Upgrade

They are not the easiest machines to upgrade, but often, the right parts at the right time can easily breathe new life into an old machine.

With the uplift in SSD and RAM prices, this is still very much a cost effective and viable option.

Memory Upgrade

Always have more memory than you need, better to have it and never use it than not have it and need it. SSD drives have a finite usage life for each byte of information. So having the right memory so that you never need to use your hard drive as virtual memory, will significantly improve your computers usage life.

Hard Drive Replacement

Fusion Drives were a good idea at the time, but now they can really slow computers down thanks to virtual memory. Replacing Your Mechanical drive with a Solid State Drive, can give a solid performance boost.

We have a limited number of computers for sale, however we rarely buy RISC chip macs, due to their integrated chipset and what this means when people don't buy computers with the correct amount of RAM. RAM and SSD wear as with integrated GPU wear. Now Fully defines the lifespan of a computer and buying a machine with not enough RAM/SSD space.
